Vision

It is with a real sense of excitement, and considerable pride, that I now make public our vision of the future which awaits pitt&sherry.

The Board, and the broader shareholder group, has grappled with this challenge of articulating our 20-30 year horizon - a significant task in the sense that we needed to describe an aspirational future which both reflects our core values and which, through its audacity, will inspire our people over a long period of time.

To do this we tackled the big questions:

• What should this company look like?
• What should it feel like to employees?
• What should it have achieved?
• What will others say about this company?

and we settled on this:

As we have revealed in recent staff forums, the company's shareholders are united and passionate about this statement regarding our future. It reflects where we have come from - and sets an extremely challenging agenda around where we go from here. Some aspects are readily believable from our current position in the market - whilst others, and particularly our aspirations in the climate change area, are quite frankly daunting.

For pitt&sherry that is what visions are about - we need to be out there - taking on the big challenges and building a sustainable future by adding value to our clients operations, our communities and our own lives through the intelligent application of our technical and management know how.
