New National Manager Mining, Dan O'Toole joins, pitt&sherry

pitt&sherry has announced the appointment of Mr Dan O'Toole to the new position of National Manager – Mining.

In welcoming Dan to the pitt&sherry organisation Managing Director, Mr John Pitt, said that the new senior position of National Manager – Mining recognised the importance of the mining industry sector to pitt&sherry.

"pitt&sherry has had a long and successful association with the mining industry and Mr O'Toole's appointment will broaden the company's reach and capability. The market focus of the new Mining Services Group will be primarily a national one with international projects undertaken on an expeditionary basis." Mr Pitt said.

"Dan brings extensive mining sector consulting and business management experience to pitt&sherry. Before joining pitt&sherry, Dan had established his own company. His professional career also includes his leadership role as a Senior Executive in Coffey International Limited where he founded the international mining consultancy, Coffey Mining Pty Ltd," he added

Mr O'Toole has over 25 years mining, industry, and consulting knowledge in fields. His experience includes operational mine planning for underground metals mines, open pit mining, project management, mine backfill systems and mining geotechnical engineering. He has worked on major civil infrastructure projects involving tunnelling, shaft sinking and underground chambers.
