Williams Landing Station - Tender Design
pitt&sherry undertook the tender design for this new premium tain station. The key feature of the project is an innovative circular truss with a clear 60m span over the Princes Freeway and then linking into the proposed station concourse structure.
The three dimensional modelling of the structure needed to take into account the unique architectural form with an emphasis on ensuring the dynamic performance of the structure would be satisfactory. Another key driver for the structural design was the proposed method of installation of the main span over the Princes Freeway.
