Securing up to $10M in microgrid studies for regional & remote communities

Supporting regional and remote communities in Australia secure feasibility funding for more reliable, secure and cost effective energy.

pitt&sherry are helping regional and remote community organisations put together funding applications for the Regional and Remote Communities Reliability Fund for Microgrids.  The funding is for feasibility studies looking at microgrid technologies to replace, upgrade or supplement existing electricity supply arrangements in off-grid and fringe-off grid communities located in regional and remote areas.

pitt&sherry are excited to be supporting Gordon Hinds and Better Energy Technology with the development application and environmental assessment for the establishment of a microgrid in Lockhart. This will be Australia’s first town powered wholly by renewable energy from a microgrid.

If you are looking for experts to help win funding for your microgrid project, our Energy Services team and Planning & Environment team have significant experience across Australia.

The funding opportunity closes on 21 November 2019.

Contact Doug Fotheringham to find out how pitt&sherry can support your funding application.
