Project management is integral to pitt&sherry’s business and good project management and essential to our success.

We have developed a comprehensive and sophisticated project management capability to successfully deliver projects for our clients.

pitt&sherry’s capability incorporates:

  • Professionals and technicians trained in project management skills with ongoing investment in training and development of our staff
  • Supporting business systems and software that enable scheduling and cost tracking of internal and external project costs and monitoring of project progress
  • Certified quality management systems to underpin the quality and value of our work and project delivery.

Project management

To ensure effectively project delivery and value for our clients pitt&sherry manage the full project life cycle through:

Identifying project and client requirements

Establishing clear and achievable objectives

Balancing the competing demands for quality, scope, time and cost

Adapting to the agreed needs of the various stakeholders

Identifying the project management processes most appropriate for the project type and size.

pitt&sherry identify the work that is required to successfully complete the project. This will include scope planning, definition, work breakdown structure, verification with the client and installing a system of project scope control.

pitt&sherry schedule the project activities so that the critical activities are identified and costs and resources are planned. The schedule of activities is used to track and actively manage progress.

pitt&sherry have certified quality management, OHS and environmental management systems that can be used to ensure projects are delivered to the specified quality, safely and so that the environment is protected. We can also prepare and deliver a project through a project sustainability framework that identifies environmental concerns through the complete project life cycle.

pitt&sherry ensure that appropriate human resource management, communications strategies, risk management and procurement management systems are put in place to achieve required project outcomes.
