We’re thrilled to share that the Metro Tasmania – Zero Emission Bus Trials – Implementation Stage project won two awards at the Australian Institute of Project Management (Tasmanian chapter) – 2023 Project Management Achievement Awards.

The project was awarded:

• Tasmanian Project of the Year

This sustainability project involves concurrent operational trials of four battery electric buses in Launceston and three hydrogen fuel cell electric buses in Hobart. The project heralds the first commercial use of sustainable green hydrogen in Tasmania and is key to the State’s target of net zero emissions by 2030.
